St Ann’s Friends Association

Join the St Ann’s Friends Association!

At St Ann’s, your support goes beyond just baking cakes or volunteering at events. When you contribute, you’re directly enhancing your child’s experience at school. Your involvement helps provide:

  • Play Equipment for break times
  • Technology for classrooms
  • Books for class libraries
  • Fun Learning Experiences that enrich their education

By joining the Friends Association, you’re not only making St Ann’s a better place for your child, but you’re also building friendships and strengthening our school community. Research shows that parental involvement is linked to improved outcomes for children. Your participation sets a positive example and demonstrates the importance of community engagement. 😊

Our Mission

The primary goal of the Friends Association is to raise funds that enhance and expand the learning opportunities for all children at St Ann’s. Through various fundraising initiatives and events throughout the school year, we aim to support projects that benefit every child.

What We’ve Achieved Together

Over the years, the Friends Association has successfully funded:

  • IT Equipment for classrooms
  • Whole School Events that bring our community together
  • Trim Trail for outdoor play
  • Year 6 Leavers’ Hoodies to celebrate our graduates

Current Fundraising Goals

This year, we are focusing on improving our outdoor learning environment. Our goals include:

  • Installing a new trim trail
  • Creating a multi-use games area
  • Developing shaded areas for outdoor learning

Get Involved!

Everyone has something to contribute! Whether you have younger children at home or only a small amount of time, there are many ways to help:

  • Attend a meeting
  • Assist in setting up an event
  • Serve food at gatherings
  • Design promotional materials

If you have a professional skill you can share, we’d love your expertise! Many volunteering tasks can also be done from home, so you can contribute in a way that suits your schedule. The most valuable qualities you can bring are enthusiasm and a willingness to help.
