St Ann’s Friends Association

When you support us, you're not just baking a cake, attending an event or giving up your time by volunteering – you're buying play equipment for your child to use at break time, technology for their classroom, books for the class libraries and fun learning experiences. You're also making new friends, strengthening the school community and helping to make St Ann’s an even better place for your child. It's great for the children too – there's a direct link between parental involvement at school and how well children do. Being involved in the Friends Association not only improves your child's school, it makes you an excellent role model 😊

The goal of the Friends Association is to raise funds to help enhance and further the children's learning experiences and opportunities. Funds will benefit all the children and come from the fundraising initiatives and events that will be held during the school year.

Over the years, the Friends Association have funded IT equipment, whole school events, the trim trail and Y6 Hoodies. Currently we want to raise funds to improve our outdoor learning environment e.g. new trim trail, installing a multi-use games area, creating shaded areas.

Everyone has something to give. Even if you have younger children at home or only a small amount of time could you come to a meeting, help set up an event, serve food or design a poster? Perhaps you have a professional skill you could help us out with? You don't have to come into the school; many volunteering tasks can be done from home. The most important skills you can bring are enthusiasm and a willingness to get stuck in.

Look out for updates about our Friends Association via our school newsletter and via our social media feeds.
