SOAR
We are excited to launch SOAR – St Ann’s Outstanding Achievement Rewards; our new whole-school enrichment programme.
SOAR has been developed following feedback from parents and carers and replaces Children’s University. Creating our own programme allows us to recognise a wider range of learning experiences, both in and out of school, while keeping the system simple and inclusive for all families.
Children can earn SOAR hours for:
· Attending school clubs and enrichment activities
· Taking part in out-of-school clubs
· Representing the school in competitions
· Supporting the school community through leadership roles or helping at events
Parents can log hours by clicking on the links below for each half-term.
Hours completed during previous Children’s University years will be carried forward into SOAR.
To be included in the current SOAR programme year (March–March), all hours must be submitted by 28th February. Any hours submitted after this date will count towards the next SOAR programme year.
SOAR celebrates effort, commitment, leadership and learning beyond the classroom. Children will work towards SOAR awards and certificates as they accumulate hours throughout the year.
